Social Model vs. Medical Model of Disability (explained/my opinion)

The Social Model VS The Medical Model of Disability ♿ Most of us are sadly taught the medical model of disability from a young age. We are told that if we cannot do something it is us that are the problem as opposed to our environment, our disability is the problem and that's what needs to be fixed. But I wish more people would think about disability under the social model which shows that it's society's attitudes towards disabilities which need to change in order to make the world a more access
