Data from the Texas Department of State Health Services tracking the measles outbreak in West Texas showed no new cases of the disease on Friday since the Tuesday update was released. On Tuesday, the department reported 742 cases have been confirmed since late January in the West Texas region.

There are 1,046 confirmed measles cases across the United States, with 40 new cases reported this week, according to the Associated Press. Twenty-six of the new cases were reported in Texas, which has seen the worst outbreak in the country this year.
