The Twins announced that they reinstated shortstop Carlos Correa from the seven-day concussion injured list. Correa returns after being involved in a brutal collision with teammate Byron Buxton during a game in Baltimore when both chased after a fly ball in the outfield.

The Twins seem optimistic about an imminent return to action for Carlos Correa, on the shelf with a concussion since last week. Fans will be happy to see him return, but happier still if Correa can shake off his early struggles at bat.

As the baseball season rolls along, players are added to and taken off the IL. Sometimes, players are added to the IL rather quickly, while others take a few days to try to "get over" the issue without landing on the IL.
