Anthony Edwards didn't even wait for the final buzzer in the Minnesota Timberwolves ' Game 1 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night. The Thunder utterly dominated the Wolves in their series opener, 114-88, and Edwards decided to leave the court and head to the locker room with seconds still remaining in the fourth quarter.

The NBA fined Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards $50,000 on Wednesday night for "using profane language during a media interview" after the team's Game 1 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference finals.

Following Minnesota's Game 1 loss, nine-year NBA veteran Chandler Parsons spoke about Edwards on his show, Run It Back.

The NBA fined Edwards $50,000 on Thursday for "using profane language during a media interview" after Game 1 of the West finals.

As opposed to his rookie teammate Jaylen Clark, who played six minutes in Minnesota's blowout loss to Oklahoma City. Clark's rookie contract this season is valued at $492,323. That's before taxes. At Edwards' fine rate, he'd be broke.
