Jasson Dominguez is having a May to remember. The 22-year-old outfielder recently made baseball history. He became the first player ever to hit three home runs in a game, a homer from both sides of the plate in a single game.

WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. — When Jasson Dominguez isn’t playing for the Yankees or hitting in a batting cage or watching video of his at-bats or working on his left field play, and all of that takes up most of his time during the baseball season, he’s a 22-year-old kid who loves playing MLB The Show on PlayStation.

Domínguez, at just 22 years and 91 days old, officially overtook Joe DiMaggio (22 years, 200 days old) as the youngest Yankee to blast three homers in a game — an accomplishment that certainly meant a lot to him, comparing it to the feeling of his first game.

A big difference for Domínguez this year, he is now comfortable communicating in his second language without the help of a translator.
