Germany head coach Julian Nagelsmann believes Florian Wirtz's potential move to Liverpool would be a 'very good step' for the Bayer Leverkusen star.

Germany men’s national team coach Julian Nagelsmann weighed in on Friday’s bombshell news that superstar attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz had rejected a move to Germany Rekordmeister Bayern Munich in favor of Premier League giants Liverpool FC.

Liverpool are ready to offer Wirtz a 'long-term' deal which is rumoured to be for at least five years until 2030. However, as per reports from Sky Sports, his salary will not be in excess of Liverpool's current top earners.
