NFL owners will not be voting on a proposed rules change that would change how playoff teams are seeded. The Detroit Lions withdrew their proposal, seemingly because of lack of support. The proposal was so that NFL teams in each conference are seeded solely by record.
NFL Network reports the Lions have withdrawn their proposal to change the playoff-seeding to support better win-loss records over division winners.
