Instead of clicking on multiple buttons to add different Word and Excel formats, record a macro, add it to Quick Access Toolbar & use it to get things done.

To make your new macro more accessible, add it to the Quick Access Toolbar by right-clicking the toolbar, select Customize Quick Access Toolbar, in the resulting Word Options dialog box, select Macros ...

If desired, click the Rename button again and choose an icon from the Symbols dialog window (we chose the calculator again, same as the button on the Quick Access Toolbar.

The Quick Access Toolbar is the place where small buttons for taking quick actions reside. It can be found adjacent to the ‘Save’ option in the top-left corner of the Excel window.
