Tesla's big news today may have been the Model S refresh, but there's been a quiet shake-up in the Model X line, too, with a new entry-level car.

The EPA-rated range of the new base Model X, known as the 75D for its battery capacity and Dual-motor all-wheel drive, is now 237 miles, up from 220 miles for the 70D version.

With a slight boost in battery power, the Tesla Model X 75D now packs more range, a lower top speed, and a new price tag.

Tesla has replaced the entry-level Model X 70D with a 75D variant that offers more range at a higher price.

Even so, the Tesla Model X 75D remains significantly cheaper over the 90D, which costs $96,700, or the range-topper P90D, offered from $116,700.

The base 75 and 75D versions have seen price reductions of $5,000 and $3,000 for Model S and X, respectively, while the 90D’s price drops by $2,000 for both cars.
