Chelan County Sheriff Mike Morrison said police officials hope Decker soon runs out of supplies, surfaces and makes some kind of bold move that gets him caught.

Authorities say they believe they spotted Travis Decker, an ex-soldier wanted in the deaths of his three daughters, in the remote backcountry of Washington state.

WENATCHEE - Through trees, trails, rocks and mountains, agencies in and out of Chelan County have descended on the area surrounding Blewett Pass in the Cascade Mountains as they try to capture a man suspected of suffocating his three children in a remote campground.

Authorities said they are continuing to track a “lone hiker” sighting near Eagle Creek that “sparked our interest."

Search teams are expanding into new areas and doubling back on old ground as they hunt for Travis Decker, the Army veteran charged with killing his 3 daughters.
