Nearly a dozen ducklings stuck in a storm drain Friday were saved by South Metro firefighters in what the agency is calling its most “a-duck-able rescue yet.”

Firefighters from Battalion 5 & Squad 5 were dispatched to Lambert Avenue to help find a way to bring the turkeys back up from the drain, according to a social media post by the Gloucester City Fire Department.
