The Phoenix Suns have signed Devin Booker to a two-year, $145 million contract extension that will keep him with the team through the 2029-30 season.

Even though the move was beyond necessary, cementing nearly $70 million on the cap sheet for the 2026-27 and 2027-28 seasons isn’t ideal.

"I love the trade," Brooks said. "It gives me and Jalen [Green] an opportunity to showcase in Phoenix. ... I'm happy that we both came together."
