Novak Djokovic admitted his time alongside coach Andy Murray ended because the pair “couldn’t get more out of that partnership on court.” Three-time Grand Slam champion Murray was a shock hire at the back-end of last year for one of his greatest rivals in Djokovic, with the pair working together for the Australian Open in January.

A 24-time Major champion, Djokovic finds himself in a tricky spot in his career. He’s on a three-match losing streak for the second time this season and has zero clay wins in 2025. While he’s been open that he’s in a “new chapter”, the world No. 6 believes he can still be a Grand Slam candidate ahead of Roland Garros.

Novak Djokovic said that he is in no rush to find a new coach after parting ways with Andy Murray. The 37-year-old Djokovic is currently taking part in the Geneva Open where he will face Marton Fucsovics in the Round of 16.
