On March 18, superstar wide receivers Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins signed contract extensions with the Cincinnati Bengals after arriving at Paycor Stadium together. Star quarterback Joe Burrow made comments saying that the Bengals needed to hold on to their weapons, and Chase said that those comments were "a big help" in him eventually re-signing.
