Microsoft is integrating Python into its Excel app. A public preview is available for Microsoft 365 subscribers now and all the Python code runs on the Microsoft Cloud.

While Excel offers many formatting options to make your workbook visually appealing, manually formatting large datasets can be incredibly tedious. But Python can automate it with ease.

Python integration in Excel won’t require additional software or add-ons and is instead part of Excel’s built-in connectors and Power Query.

Also, Python isn’t limited to automation in Excel only. It opens up a host of other programming possibilities for you. Python is useful in web development, data science, machine learning, and more.
