True, Michigan’s band might have marched “Ohio” in a script first, but today’s “Script Ohio” is the invention of OSU.

Ohio State’s band didn’t perform its own Script Ohio until 4 years later in 1936, improving Michigan's static formation by drawing the letters out with a single-file line of bandmembers.

Fast forward to 2022 and the script is completely flipped. Ohio State ended the first half gashing Michigan for 124 rushing yards, 64 coming from converted linebacker Chip Trayanum.
