Part two starts up in the New Year, with the recently paroled Elliot Carson (Tim O'Connor) returning to Peyton Place after 18 years in prison for allegedly murdering his wife.

The series may have outraged residents of the ‘real’ Peyton Place, but it certainly had a significant impact in other areas of the world.
