If you accidentally swiped away all notifications, there's a way to look at your notification history on Android. You do need to turn it on first, though.

These apps can log previous notification history on an Android device, allowing you to see the whole history, including deleted notifications. So, which apps are these, and how do they work?

You can see old notifications on an Android that you've previously cleared via the device's Notification Log, which is accessible in Developer Mode.

Every Android phone may not have the stock Notification Log. I tested this shortcut on the Google Pixel 2 XL, Pixel 3, and Razer Phone 2 — all phones with stock or near-stock versions of Android.

There’s also an option for checking Android’s native notification log but that only shows the app name, not the notification content.

Fortunately, on Android, there’s a straightforward app available now that maintains a functional log of your entire notifications’ history, called Notif Log.
