The Pixel 4A raises the bar for how good a budget phone's camera can be.

Curiously, unlike last year, it seems likely that the Pixel 4a will only come in one size — that is, unless Google really does plan to release a Pixel 4a 5G this year.

Google has priced the Pixel 4A at just $349, which is $50 less than the iPhone SE. Even at that aggressively low cost, the phone delivers a best-in-class camera for photos.

The Google Pixel 4A has a big 5.8 inch OLED screen, great camera, audio transcriptions and more generous storage than rivals at 128 GB.

Google says it has improved touch sensitivity on the Pixel 4a when using a screen protector, while “auto-brightness response in certain light conditions” has also been addressed.

Enter, then, the Pixel 4a, long overdue by all rights and intents, but still turning heads by virtue of Google's camera chops and a $349 price tag.
