Perhaps as a follow up to the 2DS GameCube controller mod from earlier this year, or potentially using different methods, we have another mod for using the famous controller on a 3DS system.

Smealum says the hack is a "user mode exploit" that isn't able to run pirated 3DS software, but should be able to run legitimate games in region-free mode some time in the future.

In the case of WoW, you could use the modded 3DS to do low-impact activities like Garrison tasks or dailies. If you want to try out the mod yourself, you can find a download link here.

A mod for the Nintendo 3DS allows for the use of a GameCube controller. This will most likely be something Super Smash Bros. players will be very interested in.
