An advert for Google Fi features a phone that looks an awful lot like the upcoming Pixel 4a.

Google has all of those on the Pixel 4a, 4a 5G, and its Pixel 5. Yet, these phones are struggling to succeed, and ad dollars are not doing much to help.

Google needs to pay a fin in Texas over Pixel 4a ads that were actually deceptive in nature. It's a pretty hefty fine.

The Pixel 4a’s design leaked a few months ago when renders revealed that Google was considering a much better design for the upcoming mid-range handset.

Curiously, unlike last year, it seems likely that the Pixel 4a will only come in one size — that is, unless Google really does plan to release a Pixel 4a 5G this year.

Google has priced the Pixel 4A at just $349, which is $50 less than the iPhone SE. Even at that aggressively low cost, the phone delivers a best-in-class camera for photos.
