Today, Google announced that App Engine is gaining support for the wildly popular Node.js JavaScript run-time.

Google said it is adding a firewall to its Google Cloud Platform App Engine so developers can allow or deny requests by IP addresses and location.

Like Microsoft Azure and AWS, Google Cloud offers both PaaS and IaaS, as well as a wide range of services. Google’s PaaS, App Engine, is at the heart of its cloud.
