DETROIT — The Detroit Lions have one more opportunity to get some game reps before the 2025 season begins as they host the Houston Texans in their preseason finale. Saturday afternoon’s game is most important for many of the players on the roster bubble right now, with cuts looming on Tuesday.

There has understandably been consternation about the number of Lions injuries this preseason (includes games and training camp). Taken as a whole though, it doesn't look bad at all. No key players or any starters have suffered a long-term injury. The vast majority of injuries were short-term and minor.
