NEW YORK, July 2 - WNBA Eastern and Western Conference coaches have selected the 12 players who will participate as reserves in the 2003 WNBA All-Star Game.

The following year, the Mercury had multiple players in the All-Star Game for the first time since 1999. Taurasi made her second game, and her new teammate, Cappie Pondexter, played alongside her.

The game, which saw the WNBA All-Stars beat the U.S. Olympic team 117-109, easily topped the 1.44 million that viewed the 2003 contest. Saturday's game peaked with more than 4 million viewers.
