Whether it was hard foul late in the game against the Sun earlier this season or speaking about her thoughts on the WNBA expansion cities, Cunningham isn't afraid to speak her mind. That remained true when she quote tweeted a video of her being elbowed in the head in Tuesday's game against the Sun.
The 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year, who happens to be one of the biggest names in all of sports, has been battling injuries all season. She missed five games early in the season with a left quad injury, only to return and eventually be out for another five with a left groin injury.
The 2025 WNBA All-Star Game is scheduled for Saturday, July 19 at Indiana's Gainbridge Fieldhouse, home of the Fever. The full pool of players in this year's game was announced last week, and captains Caitlin Clark and Napheesa Collier subsequently drafted their squads for the game.

According to the Dallas Wings, Ogunbowale passed Maya Moore for 18th on the WNBA’s list of all-time 3-pointers made Wednesday night. The veteran guard hit a 3-pointer early in Dallas’ meeting with the Las Vegas Aces to bring her career total to 531.
