TSA's new facial recognition technology lets PreCheck travelers skip showing their ID entirely at these airports.
Those with TSA PreCheck get to wait in a separate security line. In fact, according to the TSA website, 96% of passengers with TSA PreCheck waited less than five minutes in security as of August 21.
Virtually all passengers wait less than 30 minutes in standard checkpoint lines, and 99.6% of TSA PreCheck members waited less than 10 minutes in line, according to the agency.
There are currently 8.54 million PreCheck members, compared with previous projections as high as 25 million. Renewal rates aren't where TSA officials would like to see them either, at 68%.
