Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has launched an investigation into whether Beto O’Rourke’s political group, Powered by People, is breaking laws by funding Texas Democrats’ out-of-state travel attempting to stop the passage of the new Republican-favored congressional maps.

The organization, Powered by People, has reportedly been helping support Texas state lawmakers who fled the state to prevent Republicans from passing a new congressional map.

Paxton has launched an investigation into Beto O'Rourke's PAC, accusing it of illegally funding House Democrats who left the state to block a redistricting vote.
