Chelsea have reached an agreement with Brighton & Hove Albion to sign Joao Pedro. The 23-year-old Brazilian was targeted by Chelsea and Newcastle United but he only wanted to join the west London side.

Chelsea have agreed a deal worth 60 million pounds ($82.27 million) to sign Brighton & Hove Albion forward Joao Pedro, British media outlets reported on Sunday.

Joao Pedro is flying in from Brazil to conduct a medical in the United States and could make his debut in Friday's quarter-final tie against Palmeiras (BST 02:00) in Philadelphia.
