A fifth inmate was recaptured following a breakout at a New Orleans jail last week, authorities announced, the same day a maintenance worker at the facility was arrested after allegedly helping with the escape.

New Orleans — Ten men who broke out of a New Orleans jail last week clogged a toilet to get the water shut off so that they could escape through a hole behind it, a lawyer for a maintenance worker who is charged with helping them said Wednesday.

The Louisiana authorities are still searching for five of the 10 inmates who escaped from the Orleans Parish Justice Center last week.
