Josh Hartnett has been tapped for the lead of Netflix's untitled Newfoundland limited series, which takes place & will film in Newfoundland, Canada.

"Oppenheimer" actor Josh Hartnett will face "a mysterious sea creature" that is wreaking havoc in a small Canadian town in an upcoming limited series.

On the opposite end of the spectrum from the wealthy fishing family of The Waterfront, Josh Hartnett will be playing what sounds like a salt of the earth (or shall we say, salt of the sea) fisherman in a new limited series at the streamer.
