A sculpture of the late American singer and poet Jim Morrison that went missing from his gravesite in Paris almost four decades ago has been found, according to French police.

Nearly four decades ago, a 300-pound bust of psychedelic rock legend Jim Morrison of The Doors was stolen from his grave in Paris. On Monday, French police said the bust — covered in fan graffiti — was found during an unrelated investigation.

The Jim Morrison bust, which disappeared from the Père Lachaise cemetery in 1988, was found by Paris police while conducting an unrelated search.
